Integrated Village Development (IVD)

The ‘Integrated Village Development’ programme is basically designed as an integrated approach to fight against illiteracy, unemployment, unhealthy socio-cultural taboos and condition of the villages through upgrading education, skill development activities. It aims to improve education, skill development, and health and hygiene standards. The AFI leads the health component of this integrated approach through its Arogya Gram and TEA initiatives. There are 36 operational IVD projects till date. It is supported by Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation USA.
